A three-member delegation from OSMA Headquarters, comprising Major General Abdullahi Maikano, President of OSMA; Capitaine de Frégate Pierre Djendola, Secretary General of OSMA; and Lieutenant Colonel Martial Dali, Head of the Technical Sports Department, paid an official visit to the high authorities of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea in preparation for the forthcoming African Military Football Cup (CAMFOOT), scheduled to take place in Malabo in November this year.

The purpose of the visit was to engage with government officials and key stakeholders in Equatorial Guinea and assess the level of preparedness for this major event, which features prominently in the OSMA programme of activities.

During their stay in Malabo, the delegation met with the Minister of Defence, the Chief of Defence Staff, the Minister of Sports, and the Vice-President of the Republic. These consultations was focus on strengthening coordination and putting in place the necessary measures to ensure the successful organisation of the championship and make it a landmark event in the history of African military sports.
