The 7th General Assembly of the Organisation of Military Sports in Africa (OSMA), was held in Freetown Sierra Leone From the 19th to the 27th February 2022. Delegates from 27 Countries attended this very important meeting despite the prevalence of the COVID-19 pandemic. It was a very successful meeting as the Sierra Leones demonstrated a high degree of African hospitality and the meeting was conducted under an atmosphere of brotherliness, friendship, and mutual understanding. The Opening Ceremony was placed under the Patronage of His Excellency Brigadier General Julius Maada Bio, President of the Republic and Commander in Chief of the Sierra Leone Armed Forces. The Deputy Minister of Defence Colonel Muana B Massaquoi chaired the Ceremony in the presence CISM Executives and a host of invited guests. The working sessions which were presided by Major General Maikano Abdullahi, President of OSMA were rich in deliberations, which brought out important resolutions in the life of the organization. The most important being the re-election of Capitaine de Frégate DJENDOLA Pierre to the post of Secretary-General for a second mandate. The Final Communiqué that sanctioned this meeting was forwarded to all OSMA member countries.
