The 4th Edition of the African Military Boxing Championship (CAMBOXE), held in June 2015 in Tunis, Tunisia, was a resounding success, marked by excellent organisation and strong participation from across the continent.
Delegations arrived ahead of the competition, setting the stage for a grand opening ceremony held on 2nd June at the Palais des Sports in Tunis. The event showcased the spirit of unity, discipline, and excellence that defines military sports in Africa. Following the ceremony, bouts across the various weight categories commenced, delivering several days of intense and high-level competition.
The championship concluded on 6th June with a vibrant closing ceremony, followed by a prestigious gala dinner attended by all participating delegations. During this occasion, commemorative gifts were exchanged between the visiting teams and the Tunisian military authorities, symbolising friendship and mutual respect among nations.
At the end of the competition, Tunisia emerged as the overall champion, with Algeria and Morocco closely following in the rankings, as reflected in the official medal table below.
